Pick & Pack Services
East Dorset Storage and Warehousing Ltd supply a full “Pick and Pack” service. Picking goods or items from the racks and packing them to fulfill orders for our customers and sending them to their customers. This is a cost effective way to run your company, cutting down on wage bills and doing away for the need to have larger premises.
We deal with companies that only have management and sales teams, using a small number of offices with no need for storage or distribution facilities. Along with companies that mainly deal with imported goods, there are also other companies that do their business solely through Internet Sales or Firms that have simply grown in size and need to restructure by out sourcing their distribution needs.
Goods are delivered to us and stored on pallets or on racking, depending on the products and the customer’s requirements. Orders are sent to East Dorset Storage and Warehousing Ltd via email, collated and packed ready for dispatch.
Each order is shipped depending on its size and destination. Small or low cost items can be packed into recycled postal sacks or small boxes, labeled and franked for delivery by the Royal Mail, recorded or normal next day delivery. Larger orders are dealt with using the courier system, yet again this depends on the size and destination, East Dorset Storage and Warehousing Ltd use a number of couriers. This gives us the flexibility to send anything from Kayaks to knickers or toilet rolls to cameras either in courier packs (not kayaks), single pack consignment or multi packs. All our deliveries are with leading couriers on next day deliveries with full track and trace.
The third method of getting your products to your customers is using the Pallet Network System. Larger or wholesale orders can be picked and packed on quarter, half or full size pallets with the same care and accuracy as any consignments for each of our customers.
